The Sony TA-4300F channel dividing stereo preamplifier (3-channel) is designed for use in a studio quality multichannel stereo Hi-Fi system.
Its circuitry employs 24 field effect transistors (FETs).
The following Sony Hi-Fi stereo components are recommended for use with the TA-4300F in a multi-channel (split band) system: TA-2000, TA-3120A, TA-3200F, TA-1120A and TA-3060.
If the preamplifier is of another brand, you must refer to its technical specifications to confirm its output voltage; the voltage supplied to the TA-4300F must not exceed 6V, as higher voltages would cause overload (distortion and, in extreme cases, damage).
If the pre-amplifier's output level is too high, the volume control should not be turned all the way up.
