Complete model change for the first time in 11 years<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The SRM-500T, which follows the numerical sequence of the SRM-700 series, is the successor model to the SRM-006tS vacuum tube driver and has been in production for 11 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first stage uses STAX's specially designed low noise DUAL FET, while the output stage uses the 6FQ7\/6CG7 high voltage dual triode. Following the traditional circuit design, which is ideal for\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0STAX vacuum tube loudspeakers, we have improved the power supply performance and\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0the sound quality.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the conventional power transformer for the high-voltage circuit, the new power transformer with the winding for the low-voltage circuit is installed in the SRM-500T.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0By adopting this low-voltage winding, the power supply's efficiency has been improved and, compared to conventional vacuum tube drivers such as the SRM-006tS, energy savings and improved sound quality have been achieved.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In addition, a new chassis with increased rigidity has been adopted compared to the SRM-006tS. The hybrid structure, which uses a lot of non-magnetic aluminum, further suppresses the effects of natural external noise such as vibration. The inputs are RCA and XLR, the inputs are mutually exclusive. The specially made concentric dual volume knob, which is common to STAX products, and the RCA PARALLEL OUT functions are installed as in conventional driver units. All electrical components are strictly selected with the environment in mind. Also, the sound quality and performance are improved. The full DC amplifier configuration, which means that the signal circuit does not include coupling capacitors, is one of the biggest traditional features.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The clear and highly transparent sound, a characteristic of the vacuum tube circuit, and the warm and wide texture of the sound are maintained, and the thickness of the low-mid frequencies is upgraded.<\/span><\/p>\n

Therefore, we recommend the SRM-500T in combination with the advanced Lambda series speaker-headphones (SR-L300\/SR-L500 MK2\/SR-L700 MK2).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
