Drawing inspiration from the design philosophy and insights gained from our powerful flagship, the TITAN, combined with the incorporation of high-quality components such as robust metal controls, an extruded aluminum front panel and an all-metal chassis, the M2si holds an enviable position for discerning audiophiles seeking a pure, high-end amplifier.

Fully discrete power amplifier

The M2si delivers 72 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 137 watts into 4 ohms. This means that the M2si can drive a wide range of speakers, even models with high power requirements. The fully discrete power amplifier, combined with the dedicated power supply and the generously proportioned toroidal transformer, guarantees reserves for proper peak performance and a wide dynamic range. Loudspeakers with high power requirements and difficult speakers are driven with ease. Low impedance dips are handled gracefully and output devices with the correct power rating do not exhibit errors under any load.

Preamplifier and PRE/POWER modulation with precise matching

The low-noise preamplifier has its own, independent power supply. In effect, this means that the M2si offers the performance advantages of a preamp/power supply configuration with the compact convenience of a single-unit design. For the best low-level channel matching, we use a high-quality Burr-Brown attenuator that offers performance far superior to conventional potentiometer designs.

The Philosophy of Musical Fidelity Design

Further flexibility is provided by the M2si's carefully considered connectivity, which includes six line-level inputs and a switchable home theatre performance. We have deliberately decided not to use a phono input or any high-frequency digital circuitry and DAC. The M2si remains committed to pristine sound quality over unnecessary features. The introduction of high-frequency digital modules would conflict with the delicate performance of the analogue preamplifiers and power amplifiers, and the significant transformer and power amplifier circuitry could cause interference with sensitive phono signals.
